I'm Heidi, a life long storyteller,
treasure hunter, and vintage curator.
For nearly two decades, I worked in front of the camera - broadcasting on FOX, ESPN, and hosting shows that brought stories to life. But behind the scenes, another passion was growing quietly: the thrill of discovering pieces that carry history, craftsmanship, and soul.
I've been treasure hunting for as long as I can remember. Garage-saling with my mother led me to seek out the perfectly imperfect even as a young girl.
Growing up on a farm, I learned how to spot what was worth, whether it was the ripest melon in the field or a forgotten relic hidden among my mother's collections. Garage sales, flea markets, and antique stores became my playground, teaching me how to recognize quality, craftsmanship, and pieces that stood the test of time.
That instinct only sharpened as I grew older, evolving into a passion that took me around the world-from flea markets in Paris and antique shops in Rome to estate sales in hidden corners of America. Every piece I found had a past, a story, and a beauty that transcended trends.
Then came my 1939 log cabin.
The moment I began restoring it, I knew it was my biggest treasure hunt yet. Every detail mattered-the worn wood, the original fixtures, the way history layered itself over time. And as I searched for the right pieces to bring it back to life, my personal collection grew. I wasn't just collecting antiques-I was curating stories, history, and craftsmanship.
That's how Hand-Picked by Heidi was born as a business but as a lifelong pursuit of history, craftsmanship, and timeless style.
