Tiffany Studios Art Nouveau Bronze Frame- Stamped | Early 20th Century

Sale price$495.00 Regular price$995.00

Crafted in the early 1900s by the legendary Tiffany Studios New York, this antique bronze frame is a study in quiet elegance. Its distinctive patina and beautifully balanced proportions reflect the refined sensibility of Tiffany’s decorative arts legacy.

The bronze is weighty and rich with age, and the easel-back design makes it perfect for tabletop display. The piece is stamped “Tiffany Studios New York” on the reverse—a mark of craftsmanship and collectible prestige.

Did you know…
This ornate bronze frame was made by Tiffany Studios in the early 1900s as part of their renowned Furnaces Bronze desk set collection—a line that brought fine art into everyday function.

Tiffany Studios, led by Louis Comfort Tiffany, was best known for its stained glass, but its bronze accessories became icons of the Art Nouveau movement. The Furnaces Bronze pieces were cast using high-quality bronze, finished with rich golden-brown or verdigris patinas, and often featured nature-inspired motifs like vines, lilies, or dragonflies.

They were sold through high-end retailers and Tiffany Studios’ own catalogues as part of their “desk set collections”, which often included matching blotter corners, inkwells, pen trays, and letter racks.

Each piece was crafted not just for beauty, but for lasting utility—designed to adorn the desks of tastemakers, collectors, and creatives of the day. This frame once held a small calendar or treasured photo, and today, it holds a piece of American design history.
